Science and Engineering Talent Showcase

What is it? The Science and Engineering Talent Showcase is a continuation of our annual recruiting-focused meeting (formerly called the Industrial Associates Meeting). This forum showcases University of Chicago graduate students and postdocs in chemistry, chemical biology, biophysics, molecular engineering, physics and related disciplines to potential employers in industrial and government settings. Employers have the opportunity to promote their organization and to screen candidates in a variety of one-on-one interactions.

Why the new name? Thanks to our expanding efforts to engage non-academic alliances, we have expanded the program this year to include Physics, the James Frank Institute, and the Materials Research Science and Engineering Center. We are also excited to announce the launch of an Industrial Affiliates Program, which will foster research-centric industrial partnerships in a variety of ways, including enhanced recruiting services. The IAP and Talent Showcase will be complementary programs in our enhanced industrial outreach efforts.

The next Science and Engineering Talent Showcase will be held on October 27th, 2016. Please contact Jessica Swanson if your organization is interested in attending.
